Thank you for your interest in attending Ai-Kon as a food vendor!

Ai-Kon is an anime, video game, and Asian pop culture convention that hosts over 10,000 very hungry attendees, plus volunteers, celebrity guests, and more! We partner with local food businesses to provide our attendees with a variety of food options. Our event takes place at the RBC Convention Centre during the weekend of July 17-19, 2026. 

While Ai-Kon operates as a 24-hour event, the busiest hours are:

• Friday, July 17th, 12 to 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday, July 18th, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Hours around the Dance Party on Saturday can also be busy 10 p.m. to midnight, as there are limited food options available nearby.
• Sunday, July 19th, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Food trucks may choose to be set up one day, two days, or the whole weekend depending upon their availability.  

Interested businesses MUST possess the correct food truck permit to be able to park on York Avenue in front of the RBC Convention Centre.

Please note that Ai-Kon does not reserve parking spaces for food trucks, and trucks may not be set up on the RBC Convention Centre property. Parking space is determined by the business based on the legal constraints of the City of Winnipeg bylaws and the restrictions highlighted in the permit.
